| In 2008, cost to providers: $50 per provider. No dues until after you get a contract with the improvements you want (raises, health insurance, improved assessment system). Following contract ratification, November 2008, dues of $20-$25 per month per provider will begin. The Federation has NOT asked the Providers to pay dues BEFORE a contract is won. Only after you get a contract will you pay dues to the Federation. Learn more at FactCheck |

2008 fees: $250 per provider PLUS “additional fees to pay for collective bargaining.” WSRCC is currently collecting dues from members as annual payments. | More political power: 40,000 members AND full time lobbying team to make state listen. Imagine 40,000 members backing up AFH owners with efforts powered by 5 full-time lobbyists/political advocates, long term relationships with legislators who rely on Federation support to get re-elected. Political power that has the ability to move the state. |

No political power: Part time lobbyist has failed to win real cost of living raises for members. The WSRCC and AFHA have long tried to move politics and state government to help Adult Family Homes and the results are clear-very few rate increases, $2-4 per hour per day for Medicaid clients, no benefits, no health insurance, etc… |
| Cost of living raises EVERY year & health insurance for all 40,000 members. • Stopped liability insurance. • Won highest ever rate increase for providers • Working for a $100 per day rate structure. • Stopped the caregiver bill. • Working for health insurance for all members. • Political power to move the state. • A better value for the money. • When we win, our residents win! |

No health insurance and NO cost living increases for past 10 years. • 10+ years of no gains. • 10+ years of taking owners money for nothing • $2-$4 per hour per resident. • very few rate increases • no health insurance • More expensive |
| YES, I want health insurance. All 40,000 members have affordable health insurance. AFH owners can have this too! With 40,000 members we can get very low cost insurance for all our members. |

No health insurance for providers with the WSRCC. Many providers go without or work a second job to get health insurance. WSRCC has NEVER tried to get its members health insurance and lacks the ability to get you health insurance. |
| Washington Federation of State Employees STOPPED the liability insurance rule by collecting more than 750 petitions and bringing providers to Olympia to meet with the Governor’s office to discuss this problem. |

WSRCC SUPPORTED this costly requirement and profited from it by requiring providers to join their group to get a discount. This could cost providers more than $4 million in 2008. |
